Integrated Freight Facility

MTTSL plans to broaden its service offerings through the development of Integrated Freight Facilities (IFFs) across key locations in East Malaysia, designed to support the evolving logistics needs of our customers. These facilities will serve companies involved in FMCG, consumer electronics, cold-chain and general cargo, delivering seamless end-to-end supply chain solutions under one integrated platform.

Our IFFs are designed with modern elevated warehouse structures for flood mitigation, multi-temperature cold rooms, and cloud-based IT systems that enable full supply chain visibility and coordination through a single channel. To support our sustainability commitments, MTTSL will utilise ammonia-based refrigeration systems, reducing environmental impact and harmful emissions.

Strengthening Supply Chain Connectivity

Our IFF developments are designed to address the limitations of less developed landside transportation networks and the shortage of modern freight handling facilities. By enabling more efficient cargo distribution and enhancing supply chain reliability, these facilities will support the expansion of logistics networks into East Malaysia.

Continued investments in IFFs and related supply chain infrastructure across Malaysia are expected to further strengthen our position as a leading integrated logistics provider, while generating incremental cargo volumes onto our vessels through comprehensive end-to-end container transportation services.
